In the past 40 years, we have evolved from a local Kenyan contractor to a regional company with customized solutions in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Seychelles, Mozambique, Somalia, DRC, Ethiopia, and Rwanda. Our business units and industry offerings have also grown to span Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Civil and Training divisions.
Burhani Engineers began this journey with the KPRL, Mombasa. For higher operational efficiency with global health and safety standards, we replaced all our client’s pneumatic controls with technologically advanced smart transmitters. The resulting gains earned us a position of trust within the market.
Our turnkey solutions for 11KV Metering from KPLC to our client’s switchroom maximized their profits by lowering the manufacturing cost, with a projected return on investment for capital equipment within 3 years. Burhani Engineers also executed electrical and instrumentation works for Natural Gas Processing plant in Mnazi Bay and 70MMcf Natural Gas Receiving Plant in Mtwara. This achievement was monumental being one of the few plants with such state-of-the-art technology in East Africa.
Next, we launched wireless tank gauging systems within the Oil & Gas Terminal and Distribution network. We made strides in deployed technology, efficiency, and safety by eliminating the use of dip tapes and cabling. In a high-innogration move, we achieved the impossible with 0.5mm accuracy in tank level measurements. We have made integrative technological advances on projects, by innovating with wireless technology, radar savvy gauges, and live on-and-off site reports via email.
Emerson Process Management is at the forefront of R&D with Process Solutions for the Plant Web, and as their Local Business Partners, we enjoy global office support for our instrumentation portfolio. In addition, Burhani Training School provides industry personnel with product usage awareness and productivity enhancement training. Our region needs to foster more interactive connections that benefit the entire knowledge value chain, and we are committed to that growth.
